The No. 14 Cal State San Marcos softball team (12-1, 2-0 CCAA) pulled off a doubleheader sweep with scores of 6-2 and 5-4 against Stanislaus State (3-9, 0-2 CCAA) at CSUSM Softball Field on Friday afternoon.

The No. 14 Cal State San Marcos softball team (10-1) will begin CCAA play this week at CSUSM Softball Field, hosting Stanislaus State in a four-game series beginning with a 12 p.m. doubleheader on Friday before concluding the series with an 11 a.m. twinbill on Saturday.

Saturday's Twinbill at Biola Postponed
Saturday's scheduled non-conference doubleheader at Biola has been postponed due to rain this week and current field conditions. The No. 14 Cougars will begin conference action next week, hosting Stanislaus State in four-game series beginning on Friday, Feb. 21 at 12 p.m.

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The No. 23 Cal State San Marcos softball team (10-1) concluded the weekend with another sweep, taking two from Vanguard (1-6) by scores of 6-2 and 7-6 on Sunday at CSUSM Softball Field.
CSUSM Sweeps APU, 4-1 and 2-1
The No. 23 Cal State San Marcos softball team (8-1) recorded a doubleheader sweep over visiting Azusa Pacific (3-6) on Saturday afternoon at CSUSM Softball Field. CSUSM took game one 4-1 before recording a late comeback in the nightcap to earn a 2-1 victory.
No. 23 CSUSM Hosts APU, Vangaurd This Weekend
The Cal State San Marcos softball team (6-1) will host two non-conference doubleheaders this weekend. Due to field conditions, the doubleheader originally scheduled on Saturday in Azusa against Azusa Pacific (3-4) has been moved to CSUSM Softball Field for a noon doubleheader. On Sunday, CSUSM will welcome Vanguard (1-4) in an 11 a.m. twinbill at CSUSM Softball Field.
