Cougars End Season at NCAA West Regional with Losses to Broncos, Sea Lions
The Cal State San Marcos baseball team (27-21) saw its historic 2024 season come to an end with a pair of losses to Cal Poly Pomona and No. 4 Point Loma on Thursday at the NCAA Division II West Regional hosted at Carroll B. Land Stadium at Point Loma Nazarene University. The fifth-seeded Cougars fell 13-5 to the fourth-seeded Broncos in the first game before being eliminated with a 4-2 loss to the top-seeded Sea Lions in the second game.

CSUSM to Make NCAA West Regional Debut
The fifth-seeded Cal State San Marcos baseball team (27-19) will make its first-ever appearance at the NCAA Division II West Regional taking place Thursday through Saturday at host and top-seeded Point Loma (40-10-1). The Cougars will open play by facing fourth-seeded Cal Poly Pomona (31-22) on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Carroll B. Land Stadium. CSUSM students, faculty and staff will receive free admission for the NCAA West Regional with a valid CSUSM ID when checking at the CSUSM pass list table.
