COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos women's golf team opened its 2025-26 campaign with a team victory at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella on Tuesday, finishing with a two-round total of 579 (+3).
FIRST TEE
- Kiara Hernandez: Tied for second with a 2-under par 142 (74-68); carded seven birdies across two rounds.
- Avery Foster: fourth place with an even-par 144 (74-70); recorded six birdies and played both rounds under par.
- Ellaclair Leedom: Tied for sixth with a 2-over par 146 (74-72); posted three birdies and no worse than bogey in round two.
- Abby Sickles: Tied for 13th with a 3-over par 147 (72-75); tallied five birdies and was even-par in round one.

"The girls played a great tournament. It was awesome to see some of our younger girls played great and really help the team out. Kiara and Avery came back today with great rounds and this win was the result of everyone on the team contributing. The girls were very composed all tournament and I'm really proud of them."
