Cougars End Homestand with 1-1 Draw Against Biola

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos men's soccer (0-2-2) earned its second straight draw of the season Tuesday afternoon, playing Biola (1-2-2) to a 1-1 finish at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Off a free kick in the 54th minute, Brennan Furlan put the Eagles ahead with a shot 10 yards in front of the box and into the left side of the goal to give Biola a 1-0 lead.
  • In the 76th minute, a pass from David Ruiz outside the box on the left side found Efren Nunez Dominguez at the top left corner of the six-yard box, who immediately put a shot into the lower left corner of the goal to knot the game at 1-1.
