COURSE REPORT:  The Cal State San Marcos men's golf team moved up one more spot to finish in fourth place with a 4-over 868 (296-284-288) at Cal State San Bernardino's Battle in the Desert on Wednesday afternoon at Rams Hill Golf Club in Borrego Springs.

FIRST TEE

• Arman Rahgozar and Jason McElroy were CSUSM's top golfers, finishing tied for 13th with a 2-under 214.
• Rahgozar recorded four birdies and five pars on the front nine. McElroy tallied nine birdies in the third round.
• Greg Mouser carded a 2-over 218 (76-68-74) and finished tied for 23rd place.
• Aiden Canada tied for 55th place with a 16-over 232 (82-74-76).
• Gavin McCormick registered a 17-over 233 (72-76-85) for a share of 57th place.

• Georgia Southwestern retook the lead to win the team title with a 13-under 275 to finish with a three-round score of 30-under 834.
• Stanislaus State's Christopher Chomyn and Jack Peters were crowned individual medalists after posting 9-under 207s.
• CSUSM registered 68 birdies, tying with Stanislaus State for second place, behind Georgia Southwestern's 73.
• Jason McElroy led the field with 20 birdies.
