SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Edwyn Collins and Charlie Henderson of the Cal State San Marcos men's basketball team were named to the 2023-24 CCAA All-Conference Team on Wednesday. Collins earned first-team honors while Henderson was an honorable mention.
A two-time CCAA Player of the Week this season, Collins ended the regular season as the conference's leading scorer at 17.7 points per game while also leading the league in steals at 1.96. The redshirt senior from Moreno Valley tallied 10 20-plus point performances, three 30-plus point games and five double-doubles. Collins also ranked seventh in the CCAA with 6.8 rebounds per game.
Henderson was CSUSM's second-leading scorer at 12.7 points per game. The Mission Viejo native had the third-best field-goal percentage in the CCAA at 53.1% and ranked 10th with 6.3 rebounds per game. He was also the fifth-best shot blocker in the conference with 23 total blocks and 0.96 per game. Henderson ended the season with five double-double performances.
These are the first All-CCAA selections for both Collins and Henderson.
