Alumni Association 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
Sep 13, 2026 8:00 AM | Organization: Alumni Engagement The campus community is invited to participate in the impactful event hosted by the CSUSM Veteran Alumni Chapter and the Wounded Warriors Project for the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. We will climb a total of 2,071 steps. This is to represent the 2,071 steps that first responders climbed in the courageous efforts to save lives at the Twin Towers that day. There will be moments of silence throughout to pause and reflect without community as we tackle these stairs together. Check in at Campus Way Circle.

These recommendations are derived from data collected through the 2025 Campus Climate Survey.
