The Cal State San Marcos baseball team (21-17, 16-13 CCAA) split its doubleheader at No. 24 Cal State Monterey Bay (26-14, 19-12 CCAA) on Friday, falling 23-0 in the first game before rebounding with a 6-4 win in the second game at the Otter Sports Complex.

The No. 18 Cal State San Marcos softball team (33-14, 19-11 CCAA) suffered back-to-back walk-off home run losses to Cal State Dominguez Hills (29-20, 16-14 CCAA) on Friday at Toro Field in Carson.

A six-run inning propelled the Cal State San Marcos baseball team (20-16, 15-12 CCAA) to a 9-2 win in the series opener at No. 24 Cal State Monterey Bay (25-13, 18-11 CCAA) on Thursday night at the Otter Sports Complex.

The Cal State San Marcos men's and women's track & field program will compete in five meets in three days as it takes part in the Pacific Coast Invitational, the ULV Leopard Invitational, the Bryan Clay Invitational, the Mt. SAC Relays and the Beach Invitational on Thursday through Saturday.
