Cal State San Marcos Athletics tied for the conference lead with 73 student-athletes on the 2024 CCAA Winter/Spring Academic Honor Rolls on Tuesday.

Cal State San Marcos Athletics posted a 3.321 grade-point average as a department for the Spring 2024 semester.

Cal State San Marcos Athletics placed third in the 2023-24 CCAA Robert J. Hiegert Commissioner's Cup standings. The award was announced at the conference's annual spring Executive Council meetings on Wednesday, June 5.

The Cal State San Marcos baseball team (27-21) saw its historic 2024 season come to an end with a pair of losses to Cal Poly Pomona and No. 4 Point Loma on Thursday at the NCAA Division II West Regional hosted at Carroll B. Land Stadium at Point Loma Nazarene University. The fifth-seeded Cougars fell 13-5 to the fourth-seeded Broncos in the first game before being eliminated with a 4-2 loss to the top-seeded Sea Lions in the second game.

The Cal State San Marcos baseball team placed five student-athletes on the 2024 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) NCAA Division II West All-Region Team on Wednesday.
