The Cal State San Marcos women's cross country team placed 16th with 376 points at the NCAA West Regionals on Saturday morning in Billings, Montana.

Kalathan Laiwa-McKay, Renton McGregor, Nick Melanese, Chas O'Bear and Will Prouty of the Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team and Rasha Badrani, Kailey Frye, Emily Mendoza, Lauren Meredith and Rachelle Zilavec of the Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team on Tuesday.

The Cal State San Marcos men's and women's cross country teams will head up to Billings, Montana, to run under the sun with temperatures in the 50s and winds between 10-15 mph for the 2024 NCAA Division II West Regional on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The Cal State San Marcos women's cross country team took fifth place with a score of 127 at the CCAA Championships on the course of Woodward Park in Fresno on Friday morning.

The Cal State San Marcos men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Central California for the CCAA Championships on Friday, Oct. 25. The Cougars will race at Woodward Park, located in Fresno, California.
