Avery Foster of women's golf and Alan Jimenez of men's cross country have been named the Cal State San Marcos Student-Athletes of the Month for October 2025.

Cal State San Marcos women's golfer Avery Foster has garnered the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Golfer of the Week award this week.

The Cal State San Marcos women's golf team placed fourth at the NCAA DII Regional Preview Invite, finishing with a 47-over 615 (304-311) after two rounds played on Monday and Tuesday at Pueblo Country Club.

Kiara Hernandez of women's golf and David Ruiz of men's soccer have been named the Cal State San Marcos Student-Athletes of the Month for September 2025.

Cal State San Marcos' Chloe Rahn led the Cougars to a dominating performance as she's been tabbed as the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Golfer of the Week, for the week of Sept. 24-30.

The Cal State San Marcos women's golf team dominated the field at the Lady Bulldog Desert Classic, claiming the team title with a final score of 11-over 875 (297-291-287) after three rounds played at Avondale Golf Club on Monday. The Cougars were the only team to post a sub-par round, closing with a 1-under 287 to seal the victory.
