The Cal State San Marcos women's cross country team placed 22nd out of 24 teams in the Invitational 6K race at the UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday morning, scoring 557 points. The Cougars also competed in the Open 5K division, finishing 12th out of 26 teams with 399 points.

- Angela McManus led the Cougars with a strong 16th-place finish with a PR 6K time of 20:53.7, second-best 6K time in program history.
- Melissa Estrada broke into CSUSM's Top 25 Top Performances at No. 22 after crossing the line in a time of 21:50.0 for 104th place.
- Chloe Quezada followed in 162nd place at 22:25.5.
- Hailie Lomeli finished 177th in 22:37.8.
- Ana Moreno-Perez came in 178th with a time of 22:38.4.
Open - 5K Highlights
- Kennadi Cauley was CSUSM's top finisher in the 5K, placing 70th in 19:03.9.
- Itzel Del Rio followed in 94th with a time of 19:19.1.
- Aurora Eskridge placed 136th in 19:51.9.
- Thalia Griffith finished 137th in 19:52.1.
- Dayanara Solis rounded out the Cougar scorers in 146th at 20:00.4.
