Murr Named PING WGCA Co-Player of the Year, Hernandez Selected All-West Region
SAN MARCOS, Calif – Senior Madison Murr was named the NCAA Division II PING Co-Player of the Year last week by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
Murr also joined Kiara Hernandez on the PING All-West Region team.

Ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II, Murr boasted the lowest scoring average on the team at 71.1 with five wins and eight top-2 finishes this season. She was CSUSM's second NCAA Division II National Champion in program history after carding a 14-under 202 in Boulder City, Nevada, last week. The Los Alamitos native matched her career-low round of 8-under 64 on the final day. This is Murr's third consecutive All-West Region honor.
