About Couple's Counseling: SHCS offers brief couple counseling on a limited basis, based upon therapist availability.
Couples counseling can be arranged when both individuals are enrolled CSUSM students. During the phone consultation session, the counselor will determine whether couple counseling appears appropriate. If it is decided that couple counseling is not appropriate, alternative treatment recommendations will be made.
Students can schedule a Phone Consultation to initiate Counseling services Monday through Friday from 10:00am – 4:30pm.
Phone Consultations can be scheduled same day and up to 48 hours in advance by calling SHSC at (760) 750-4915 or scheduling on the Cougar Health Portal.
Crisis walk/drop-in hours are also available on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays from 10:00 AM-12:00 pm and Tuesday/Thursday from 9:00-11:00 am, and Monday through Friday from 2:00-4:00 pm.
