FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal San Marcos women's track & field team had one school record in addition to three other top-10 program marks at Cal State Fullerton's Ben Brown Invitational on Friday and Saturday at the Titan Track Complex.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Rasha Badrani broke the 22-year-old school record in the 100-meter dash at 11.96 seconds. The previous record was set in 2002 by Autumn Wright at 12.07.
- Badrani also ran the second-fastest 200-meter time in program history at 24.50 seconds.
- In the 100-meter hurdles, Badrani set her third top-10 time of the day at 14.55 seconds.
- Lauren Meredith recorded the sixth-best pole vault mark in team history at 3.38 meters – .02 better than her previous best.
- Charlotte Allison and Trinity Barr matched their top-10 program marks in the high jump at 1.61 meters as they tied for fourth out of 30.
- Mia Salinas was fourth in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:03.18.
- Dymon Preyor finished seventh out of 35 entrants in the long jump at 5.44 meters.
- Carly Schuerger recorded a 5000-meter time of 17:36.30.
- Kailey Frye tallied a triple jump distance of 10.58 meters.
- Hazel Groff was CSUSM's top entrant in the 400-meter run at 59.91 seconds.
- The Cougars concluded the meet with the 4x400-meter relay as Badrani, Salinas, Kristin Cole and Groff finished with a time of 4:03.82.
