SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Three NCAA provisionals and two school records highlighted a busy day of events for the Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team at the Mangrum Invitational on Friday at Mangrum Track & Field.
TOP PERFORMERS
- Lilly McGraw broke the 10-year-old school record in the pole vault with a mark of 3.72 meters. Her height was .02 better than the previous record of Calah Ayer set in 2014.
- Trinity Barr broke the school record in the high jump invite with an NCAA provisional height of 1.70 meters, beating out Melissa Olmos' 2015 record of 1.68 meters. Charlotte Allison also recorded an NCAA provisional and tallied the team's third-best mark at 1.67 meters.
- Rasha Badrani had the top time in the 400-meter hurdles with an NCAA provisional of 1:01.13 while Mia Salinas was third at 1:04.25.
- The 4x100-meter relay team recorded the sixth-fastest time in program history at 47.41 seconds.
- Devin Yarbrough posted the fifth-fastest 100-meter dash time in team history at 12.23 seconds – .02 better than her previous mark set last season.
- Yarbrough later won the long jump with a distance of 5.71 meters while Dymon Preyor had the program's third-best distance at 5.66 meters.
- Taylor Cartwright tied for the ninth-best high jump mark in program history at 1.52 meters in the high jump open.
- Hazel Groff posted the ninth-fastest 800-meter time in team history at 2:13.63.
- Shaylee Mutka was the top Cougar in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.91 seconds.
- Morgann Wilson threw a distance of 37.46 meters in the javelin.
- Kristin Cole recorded a time of 1:01.46 in the 400-meter dash and later had the team's top time in the 200 at 26.07.
- Dana Hasan had a mark of 28.89 in the hammer throw.
- Angela McManus was the top Cougar in the 1500-meter run at 4:47.71.
- Carly Schuerger won the 5000-meter run with a time of 17:45.78.
- Kailey Frye wrapped up field competition for the Cougars with a triple jump mark of 10.53 meters.
- The 4x400-meter relay team finished with a time of 4:13.62.
