Olson Announces 2024-25 Women's Indoor Track & Field Schedule
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – With women's indoor track & field season fast approaching, Cal State San Marcos head coach Torrey Olson announced the team's 2024-25 schedule on Friday.
"Our schedule has a mix of meets that have served us well in the past in addition to opportunities to check out new facilities," Olson said.
CSUSM will compete in two December meets for the very first time. The Cougars will get things started by traveling to Reno, Nevada, for the Silver State Invitational & Multi at the University of Nevada on Dec. 5-7. They'll follow that up with a return visit to Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the Colorado Running Company Pre-Holiday Invite & Multi on Dec. 13-14 at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
"By putting two December meets on the schedule this year, we are putting ourselves in the position to see who is on track to make it to the NCAA Indoor Championships and plan accordingly going into the spring," Olson added.
After a two-month break, CSUSM will head to Mankato, Minnesota, for the third straight indoor season as it competes in two iterations of the Maverick Premier on Feb. 14-15 at Minnesota State University.
Should any Cougar qualify for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships, they'll compete in Indianapolis, Indiana, on March 13-15.
