LA JOLLA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team saw two NCAA provisionals that happened to be school-record performances at UC San Diego's Triton Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
TOP PERFORMERS
- Lilly McGraw broke her two-week-old school record in the pole vault with an NCAA provisional height of 3.79 meters – .07 better than her previous mark.
- Rasha Badrani broke the 16-year-old school record in the 400-meter run with an NCAA provisional of 54.75 seconds – .71 faster than Samantha Showns' 2008 time of 55.46.
- Devin Yarbrough recorded the second-fastest 100-meter dash time in program history at 11.97 seconds – just .01 behind the school record held by teammate Rasha Badrani.
- The 4x100-meter relay team of Devin Yarbrough, Isabel Ortiz, Orchid Concha and Rasha Badrani finished just .02 shy of its season best at 47.43.
- Carly Schuerger ran the fastest 1500-meter time among CSUSM's entries at 4:40.43 and finished fourth out of 83 entrants.
- Mia Salinas finished fifth out of 72 entrants in the 800-meter run at 2:12.71. She later had a 200-meter time of 25.91.
- Kailey Frye was CSUSM's top Cougar in the triple jump with a distance of 10.78 meters.
- Morgann Wilson posted a mark of 33.88 meters in the javelin throw.
- Dymon Preyor hit a mark of 5.11 meters in the long jump.
- Emily Mendoza was CSUSM's lone entrant in the 3000-meter steeplechase and finished in 12:50.98.
- Lauren Meredith finished with a time of 14.97 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles and later had the Cougars' best 400-meter hurdles time at 1:09.43.
- Melissa Estrada took sixth out of 37 in the 5000-meter run at 18:35.21.
- The team of Kristin Cole, Badrani, Salinas and Olivia Yackey finished the meet with a fourth-place time of 3:57.86 in the 4x400-meter relay.

CSUSM will compete in three meets next weekend as it heads to Azusa Pacific for the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 11-13), Long Beach State for the Beach Invitational (April 12-13) and La Verne for the Leopard Distance Carnival (April 12).
