WALNUT, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team completed its first outdoor meet of 2024 at the Kamaka Multi hosted by Mt. San Antonio College on Thursday and Friday at Hilmer Lodge Stadium.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Morgann Wilson finished second in the heptathlon with a score of 4,165 points while Dymon Preyor was fourth at 3,535 points – the seventh-best score in program history. Shaylee Mutka posted the 10th-best score in team history at 3,311.
- Dymon Preyor had CSUSM's lone top-10 event mark as she tallied a distance of 5.46 meters in the long jump – the fourth-longest leap in program history.
- Morgann Wilson won the 100-meter hurdles at 15.10 while Mutka was second at 15.58.
- In the high jump, Isabella Sanchez and Wilson tied for third at 1.48 meters.
- Wilson finished fourth in the shot put at 9.43 meters.
- In the 200-meter dash, Wilson was once again the top Cougar as she finished second in 26.45.
- Wilson had the best javelin throw at 34.88 meters.
- CSUSM concluded the meet with the 800-meter run as Lauren Meredith had CSUSM's top time and finished third at 2:43.55.
