RENO, Nev. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team began its indoor schedule with 11 top-10 program marks at the Silver State Invitational & Multi on Thursday through Saturday at the University of Nevada.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Samone Cable tied for the fourth-best high jump mark in program history at 1.55 meters. Ashlyn Holson and Taylor Cartwright tied for the seventh-best high jump mark at 1.50 meters.
- In the 60-meter hurdle section of the pentathlon, Shaylee Mutka had an altitude-converted time of 9.27 seconds – the fifth fastest in program history and .01 better than her previous PR.
- In the 60-meter hurdle prelims, Lauren Meredith improved her PR to an altitude-converted time of 9.34, ranking seventh in program history.
- Kylie Atteberry tied for the fifth-fastest 60-meter time in program history with an altitude-converted mark of 8.01 seconds in the prelim.
- Autumn Shomaker posted the eighth-best long jump mark in program history at 5.23 meters while Aliyah Ratcliffe had the ninth-best mark at 5.22 meters.
- In the triple jump, Ratcliffe had the program's ninth-best distance at 10.17 meters.
- In the shot put section of the pentathlon, Mutka had the ninth-best throw in program history at 7.81 meters – beating her old mark by .19 meters.
- Mutka finished the pentathlon with 2,545 points while Emma Steele had the seventh-best score in team history at 1,960.
