HOW IT HAPPENED
- With time winding down in the first half, Izzie Krysinski received a throw-in into the box from the right side. After dribbling out of the box and making a move around a Stanislaus defender, Krysinski put a long, sailing shot across the box, hitting the top of the keeper's hand before falling into the left side of the goal to put CSUSM up 1-0 in the 45th minute.
- After 45 minutes, CSUSM had the lead while having the edge in shots (4-3) and shots on goal (3-1) while both teams had two corner kicks.
- Just after the start of the second half, the Warriors knotted things up. From near the corner flag on the right side, Kaley Miller made a pass into the box. Her pass went off the foot of Aliah Avila before Jocelin Roa put a high shot into the top left side of the goal from behind the penalty kick marker to make it a 1-1 game in the 46th minute.
- Moments later, Stanislaus struck again in the 48th minute. After the Warriors made a long pass down field, Miller won the foot race to the right side of the box before sending a pass to Avila, who put the ball into the right side of the goal from just in front of the keeper to give the Warriors a 2-1 lead.
