COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos sits on top of the leaderboard with a 5-under 283 at the Hawaii Pacific Shark Shootout on Friday afternoon. Three Cougars are in the top 10 with Madison Murr leading the way, Makenna Cabardo tied for second and Hannah Anderson tied for sixth.

- Murr has a three-stroke lead after tallying seven birdies and two bogeys to finish the day with a 5-under 67.
- Makenna Cabardo shot a 2-under 70 in the first round and is tied for second alongside Sonoma State's Avery Foster.
