COURSE REPORT: After posting the lowest score in the second round of the NCAA Division II West Regional with a 4-under 284, the No. 14 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team jumped up the leaderboard six spots to third place. The Cougars will enter the final round with a 2-over 578 (294-284). Madison Murr shot up 12 spots and is in a three-way tie for first place with a 5-under 139 (72-67).
FIRST TEE
- With seven birdies, Murr carded the lowest score of the round with a 67 alongside Cal State Monterey's Cathy Tong.
- After posting a 3-over 39 on the front nine, Diana Delgado notched two birdies to record a 2-under 34 for a 1-over 73. She is now tied for 14th with a 1-over 145.
- Regan Barton catapulted up 31 spots after carding a 2-under 70 on Tuesday and is tied for 17th place entering the final round with a 2-over 146.
- Makenna Cabardo also moved up the leaderboard and is tied for 33rd place with a 5-over 149 (75-74).
- Hannah Anderson is tied for 44th place with a 7-over 151 (75-76).

Tee times will begin at 9:06 a.m. The top five teams and the top two individuals who are not connected with teams advancing will move on to the NCAA Division II National Championships, which will take place May 20-24 in Winter Garden, Florida.
