Murr Wins; No. 9 CSUSM Claims Runner-Up Honors at Dennis Rose

COURSE REPORT:  Madison Murr was crowned the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate Individual Medalist after carding a two-round total 7-under 137 (68-67) on Tuesday at the Village Course at Waikoloa. As a team, CSUSM moved four spots to take runner-up honors having carded the lowest round of the day for a 19-over 595 (305-290).

FIRST TEE

  • Behind a tournament-best nine birdies, Murr improved on her opening round 68 with a 4-under 67 in Tuesday's round.
  • Regan Barton shot up 24 spots for a share of 14th place with a 7-over 151 (79-72).
  • Diana Delgado also moved up the leaderboard, finishing with an 8-over 152 (78-74) and tied for 19th.
  • Makenna Cabardo climbed up to a share of 36th place with an 11-over 155 (80-75).
  • Hannah Anderson tied for 44th place with a 13-over 157 (80-77).
