COURSE REPORT: The No. 16 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team won its own CSUSM Fujikura Invitational on Tuesday with a three-round total of 37-over 901 (289-319-302). Madison Murr was crowned the individual medalist with a 1-under 215 (66-78-71).
FIRST TEE
- Madison Murr led wire-to-wire, carding a 71 in the final round to win by five strokes.
- Makenna Cabardo finished in the top 10 for the second time this season, sharing ninth place with three other golfers after shooting a 12-over 228 (72-78-78).
- Diana Delgado followed with a 13-over 229 (75-76-78) and tied for 13th place.
- Regan Barton moved up eight spots for a share of 20th place with a 15-over 231 (76-80-75).
- Lauren Hickam rounded out CSUSM scoring five with a 21-over 237 (80-78-79) and ended the three-round tournament tied for 41st. place.
