Murr Named Recipient of 2025 Inkster Award
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Madison Murr was named the 2025 recipient of the Inkster Award presented by the Women's Golf Coaches Association on Thursday. The award recognizes the highest-ranked women's collegiate golfer in her final year of NCAA eligibility.
Murr finished in the top two in all but one tournament during the 2024-25 season. She collected five wins, including individual titles at the NCAA Championships and CCAA Championships, and was named CCAA Golfer of the Year.
Murr concluded her collegiate career at CSUSM with 10 tournament wins, 21 top-3 finishes and 32 top-10 finishes. She is a three-time WGCA All-American (two-time first teamer) and two-time CCAA Golfer of the Year, as well as a three-time WGCA All-American Scholar.
Murr's other accomplishments include being a four-time All-CCAA honoree and a No. 2 individual ranking on Scoreboard powered by Clippd.
