COURSE REPORT: The No. 9 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team sits on top of the leaderboard and will enter the final round of the National Preview on Tuesday with a seven-stroke lead over top-ranked Dallas Baptist (556, +20). Four Cougars are featured in the top 10 with two-round totals under par.
FIRST TEE
- Murr is tied for second after carding two eagles, eight birdies and four bogeys in the first two rounds to finish the day with an 8-under 136 (70-66)
- Regan Barton and Diana Delgado are both tied for sixth with a 7-under 137 with Barton posting a 70 and 67 while Delgado turned in a 68 and 69 in the rounds.
- Makenna Cabardo is in a six-way tie for ninth place after finishing Monday's two rounds with a 5-under 139 (71-68).
- Hannah Anderson rebounded from her opening round of 77 with a 70 in the second round, finishing with a 3-over 147 and tied for 40th.
- Competing in her first collegiate tournament, Abby Sickles is tied for 55th with an 8-over 152 while playing as an individual.
