CSUSM Falls 54-46 to UCR in Final Exhibition
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – In its final exhibition game of the season, the Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team (0-5) fell 54-46 to NCAA Division I UC Riverside (2-5) on Tuesday night in The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After trailing 6-2 at the seven-minute mark, the Cougars turned on the jets with a 14-7 run to end the first quarter.
- CSUSM took a 24-23 lead into the locker room after shooting 45.5% (10-of-22) from the field to UCR's 29.4% (10-of-34).
- Kate Bobadilla led CSUSM with eight points in the first 20 minutes of play.
- The Cougars outrebounded the Highlanders 21-16 in the first half.
- A 21-10 third quarter put the Highlanders up 44-34 after shooting 44.4% (8-of-18) from the field and 50% (3-of-6) from the 3-point line.
- CSUSM ended the game on a high note, outscoring UCR 12-10 in the fourth quarter.
