Robinson Unveils CSUSM's 2025 Softball Schedule

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Anxious to make his head coaching debut, Cal State San Marcos Head Softball Coach A.J. Robinson announced the Cougars' 2025 schedule on Friday.

The 2025 schedule consists of 53 games including five home CCAA series, six non-conference doubleheaders and the Concordia University Irvine Kickoff Classic to begin the season.

"Our team is excited to get the season started," said Robinson. "We have worked very hard this fall to prepare for the grueling schedule we will face in 2025. We have a lot of experience, and that will help us throughout the season, along with having more depth than ever. The CCAA and West Region are extremely competitive, and we know that every game will be a battle. We look forward to the challenges ahead."

CSUSM will begin its season at the Concordia Kickoff Classic in Irvine for the fifth consecutive time.  The Cougars will face Chaminade, Hawaii Hilo, Northwest Nazarene, Western Oregon and Colorado Christian on Jan. 31-Feb. 2.

The Cougars will open their home schedule with four non-conference opponents, hosting Hawaii Pacific (Feb. 3) and Vanguard (Feb. 9) while making the short trek to Azusa Pacific (Feb. 8) and Biola (Feb. 15).

CSUSM will open conference action against the Warriors of Stanislaus State (Feb. 21-22) at home before making two trips to Northern California to face San Francisco State (Feb. 28-March 1) and Sonoma State (March 14-15).

The Cougars will take a break from CCAA play, hosting Pace (March 19) in a non-conference doubleheader before hosting Cal State Monterey Bay (March 21-22).

CSUSM will end the month of March on the road, making another trip north to Cal Poly Humboldt (March 28-29) before returning home to face Chico State (April 4-5) and Cal State San Bernardino (April 11-12). The Cougars will play their final non-conference games against Concordia University Irvine (April 15) at home.

The Cougars will then conclude their regular-season road schedule, traveling to Cal State Dominguez Hills (April 18-19) before returning the following weekend to host Cal State East Bay (April 25-26) for Senior Weekend.

CSUSM will look to defend its CCAA Tournament Title on April 30-May 3 at Sonoma State in Rohnert Park.
