SAN DIEGO – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team competed in a select number of events at Point Loma's Ross & Sharon Irwin Invitational on Saturday at PLNU Track & Field.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Juan Leyva finished fifth out of 18 entrants in the hammer throw with a mark of 48.69 meters. Jayden Davis posted a mark of 41.30 meters.
• Shaun Katje had a mark of 5.98 meters in the long jump and later put up a triple jump distance of 13.25 meters – .01 off his PR.
• Will Prouty posted a mark of 11.32 meters in the shot put.
