LOS ANGELES – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team tallied one top-10 program time as it competed in UCLA's Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational and USC's Ron & Sharlene Allice Trojan Invitational on Saturday.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Jason Wells ran the second-fastest 100-meter dash in program history at 10.69 seconds while Dre Johnson matched his PR at 10.70.
- Johnson was CSUSM's top sprinter in the 200-meter dash as he finished in 21.86 seconds.
- Already with an NCAA provisional, Kalathan Laiwa-McKay posted a mark of 16.72 meters.
- Over at USC, Nick Melanese ran an 800-meter time of 1:51.98 with Trevor Boaz finishing in 1:52.65.

CSUSM will take a week off before competing in UC San Diego's Triton Invitational on April 5-6 in La Jolla.
