SAN FRANCISCO – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (4-4-5, 0-4-2 CCAA) began its three-game road trip with a 2-0 loss to San Francisco State (1-6-5, 1-2-3 CCAA) on Sunday afternoon at Cox Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Off a Gator corner kick from the left side in the fourth minute, the ball went off the head of Adrian Vasquez before rolling over to near the touchline on the right side. Issay Bravo was there waiting and put a shot into the right side of the goal, deflecting off the Cougar keeper to make it 1-0.
- SF State struck again in the 77th minute. On a corner kick from the right side, Angel Sevillano made a head pass to Isaac Sandoval, who headed the ball into the left side of the goal from six yards out to give the Gators a 2-0 lead.
