Hutton Announces 2024-25 Men's Golf Schedule
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos Head Coach Greg Hutton announced the 2024-25 men's golf schedule on Monday afternoon. The schedule includes nine regular-season tournaments, highlighted by the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational in February of 2025.
"We're really excited to get started with our fall season," said Hutton. "I think our schedules set up really well. Both teams return the same rosters from teh previous season which is exciting."
Once again, all four fall tournaments will take place in the month of October that begins at Cal State Northridge's Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 7-8). Next up for the Cougars will be Cal State Monterey Bay's Otter Invitational on Oct. 14-15.
The Cougars will wrap up the fall season with a return to Hawai'i for a pair of tournaments – the HPU Sharks Shootout (Oct. 21-22) and Hawai'i-Hilo's Dennis Rose Intercollegiate (Oct. 25-26).
To kick off the new year, the Cougars will host the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational on Feb. 10-11 at Shadowridge Golf Club in Vista.
The Cougars will next compete in a three-day tournament, Cal State San Bernardino's Battle in the Desert, which will take place at Rams Hill Golf Club in Borrego Springs on Feb. 24-26.
One month later, the Cougars will compete in the Sonoma State Invitational at Sonoma Golf Club on March 24-25. CSUSM will slip over to Goodyear, Arizona, for the RJGA Palm Valley Classic (April 7-8) before getting its final tune-up before postseason play at Stanislaus State's Hanny Invitational (April 14-15).
The 2025 CCAA Championships will be held at Sandpiper Golf Club in Santa Barbara on April 21-23. The NCAA West/South Central Regionals (May 8-10) might have a familiar feel to CSUSM as it will be held at The Victoria Club where the Cougars won their first CCAA Tournament Championship in 2023.
The 2025 NCAA Championships will occur May 19-23 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
