• Arman Rahgozar carded an opening round of 4-over 75 and is tied for 62nd place.
• Gavin McCormick posted a 6-over 77 and is tied for 84th while Patrick Jaksch turned in a 12-over 83 and is in 107th place.

• WNMU's Joey Geary posted a 6-under 65 on Thursday and has a two-stroke lead over CSUSB's Chris Wardrup and Sangha Park of UT Permian Basin, who are tied for second.
• McElroy recorded an eagle on the fourth hole and was one of eight golfers with an eagle in the first round.
