Jaksch Named All-CCAA First Team

SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos' Patrick Jaksch was named to the 2023-24 Men's Golf All-CCAA first team, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

Jaksch, a junior from Fresno, had six top-10 finishes this season. He captured his first CSUSM win at the Nighthawk Invitational. The Fresno native has a team-low 71.8 scoring average and currently ranks 10th in the West Region. He earned two CCAA Golfer of the Week nods this season. This is Jaksch's first All-CCAA honor.

CSUSM has had at least one golfer named to the All-CCAA team each year since being eligible for the postseason honor in 2015-16.

Last week, CSUSM placed third at the CCAA Championships at Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club in Santa Rosa, California.

The Cougars earned a bid to the NCAA Division II West/South Central Regional and will be the No. 5 seed in Las Cruces, New Mexico on May 9-11.
