CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Following a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Division II National Championships, Makenzie Guiliano was named to the All-Tournament Team which was announced after the tournament concluded on Wednesday.

Guiliano tallied a team-high six hits and .600 batting average in the three games. She went 2-for-3 at the plate while scoring one run in the tournament opener against top-seeded No. 3 UT Tyler. In CSUSM's victory over fourth-seeded No. 24 Wilmington (Del.), Guiliano tied the game with an RBI fielder's choice as the game-winning run scored on a throwing error to first. The sophomore second baseman from Temecula went 3-for-4 in CSUSM's final game, knocking in the run that closed the gap to 6-5 against second-seeded No. 4 Central Oklahoma.
 
CSUSM finished its historic season with a 33-21 record after bringing home the program's first West Regional team trophy.
