TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team medaled three times while finishing sixth on the final day of the CCAA Championships on Saturday at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium on the campus of Stanislaus State.

CCAA Women's Track Athlete of the Meet - Rasha Badrani
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Rasha Badrani won the CCAA Championship in the 400-meter dash with a meet-record time of 53.25 seconds. Adriana Hewitt also scored for CSUSM with an eighth-place finish of 1:00.47.
- Badrani earned her second CCAA Championship win of the day in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.61 seconds.
- With her two championship performances, Badrani was named the CCAA Women's Track Athlete of the Meet, becoming the second to do so in program history behind Natalie Rodriguez in 2018.
- The team of Orchid Concha, Clara Haungs, Taylor Gomez and Adriana Hewitt took bronze in the 4x100-meter relay with the eighth-best time in team history at 47.61 seconds, earning the Cougars six points.
- Rachelle Zilavec earned CSUSM four points in the javelin throw with a mark of 37.13 meters.
- Concha earned the Cougars two points in the 100-meter dash with a seventh-place time of 12.27 seconds.
- Angela McManus earned CSUSM a point in the 5000-meter run with an eighth-place time of 17:57.14.
- Taylor Cartwright tied for the ninth-best high jump mark in program history at 1.54 meters.
