SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos' Liam Weaver has been selected the FloCollege/CCAA Men's Golfer of the Week.
Weaver won the CSUSM Men's Fujikura Invitational with a 10-under par 206. He shot under par in each round (71-67-68) to win the tournament by seven strokes.
The redshirt freshman from Coronado, California, thrived on the par-4 holes where he shot 7-under par, four strokes better than anyone in the field. He was also second in total birdies (15) and posted just five bogeys in 54 holes.
Weaver is the third Cougar to win the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational, joining Greg Mouser (2024) and Dale Smith (2016).
This is the first career CCAA Golfer of the Week honor for Weaver and the first for the Cougars in 2025-26. Click here to see a complete list of past weekly award winners.
The next tournament on the schedule for the Cal State San Marcos men's golf team is the RJGA West Region Preview, Feb. 23-24 in Stockton, California. The tournament will be held at The Reserve at Spanos Park, which will host the 2026 NCAA West Regional.
