COURSE REPORT: With a three-round total of a 14-under 202, senior Madison Murr became Cal State San Marcos' second NCAA Division II Women's Golf National Champion in school history. The Cougars also secured the No. 2 seed in the eight-team medal match play round of the 2025 NCAA Division II National Championships. CSUSM will square up against No. 7-seed Central Missouri on Friday, May 16 beginning at 7:40 a.m. in the quarterfinals of medal play.
FIRST TEE
- Murr recorded five birdies and two bogeys in her final round to win by three strokes, defeating second-place Gracie Grant of Dallas Baptist.
- Regan Barton shot her second round under par of the tournament with a 3-under 69 to finish with a 3-under 213 (68-76-69) and a share of 13th place.
- Kiara Hernandez carded a 1-under 215 (70-72-73) and tied for 25th place.
- Diana Delgado tied for 55th with a 6-over 222 (75-73-74) and Makenna Cabardo tied for 64th with a 7-over 223 (73-75-75).
