Cougars Fall 3-0 in Final Road Game Against Coyotes
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's soccer team (4-7-3, 3-4-0 CCAA) fell 3-0 in its final road game of the regular season at Cal State San Bernardino (8-2-5, 3-1-3 CCAA) on Sunday at Premier Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Coyotes made it a 1-0 game in the fifth minute. After a Coyote cross into the box was deflected by a Cougar, Rafa Fonseca made a quick pass to Jahir Gonzalez-Sandoval just outside the top of the box, who then put a shot into the right side of the goal.
- CSUSM heavily outshot CSUSB in the first half at 10-3, but the Coyotes had the shots on goal advantage at 3-1.
- After a CSUSM foul in the right side of the box, Tony Negrete lined up the penalty kick and put a shot into the left side of the goal to give CSUSB a 2-0 lead in the 55th minute.
- After a shot by Luis Marin was blocked by the Cougar keeper, Alix Soukup put the rebound into the right side of the goal from the top of the box to give the Coyotes a 3-0 lead in the 80th minute.
 
QUICK KICKS
- CSUSM ended the game with the edge in shots at 14-7, but CSUSB had a 7-3 lead in shots on goal.
- Efren Nunez Dominguez had a game-high three shots.
- The Cougars had possession for 51% of the contest.

With its road schedule complete, CSUSM will return to The Cage for its final three matches of the regular season, beginning with No. 25 Cal Poly Pomona on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
