15-Year-Old School Record Falls on Second Day of CCAA Championships

TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team saw a 15-year-old record fall on the second day of the CCAA Championships on Friday at Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium on the campus of Stanislaus State.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

  • Jordyn Brooks broke the program's 15-year-old school record in the triple jump at 11.78 meters while finishing fourth.
  • Kennadi Cauley earned the Cougars two points in the steeplechase with a seventh-place finish of 11:41.55 – the seventh-best time in program history.
  • Kayla James recorded the sixth-best heptathlon score in program history at 3764 points and earned CSUSM two points.
