TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's soccer team (5-3-4, 2-2-2 CCAA) suffered a 2-1 loss on the road to (RV) Stanislaus State (6-3-4, 2-2-2 CCAA) on Sunday afternoon at Warrior Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A free kick into the box by Reyna Dismukes struck the right foot of Shauna Johnston, who put the ball into the left side of the goal from the right side of the six-yard box to give Stanislaus an early 1-0 lead in the fourth minute.
- A long pass into the box from the left side by Addison Leite found the head of Natalia Huntington, who put the ball into the right side of the net from just right of the penalty marker to knot the match at 1-1 in the 19th minute.
- Stanislaus led the first half in shots (6-2), shots on goal (2-1) and corner kicks (3-1).
- The Warriors took a 2-1 lead in the 77th minute. After a long shot from well outside the box by Olivia Kamm, the ball deflected off the Cougar keeper and ended up at the feet of Aliah Avila, who put the ball into the goal from four yards out.
