Cougars Open Season with Three Top-10 Program Marks
WALNUT, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's outdoor track & field team recorded three top-10 program marks in its first meet of the season at Mt. SAC's Kamaka Open on Saturday at Hilmer Lodge Stadium.
TOP PERFORMANCES
- Taylor Cartwright had the sixth-best high jump mark in program history, putting up the top height in a field of 13 at 1.63 meters. Isabella Sanchez tied for the eighth-best mark in team history at 1.55 meters.
- Kam Pressley ran the ninth-fastest 100-meter hurdles time in team history at 14.69 seconds.
- Jordyn Brooks was the top competitor out of 30 entrants in the long jump with a mark of 5.48 meters.
UP NEXT
CSUSM will return to competition next Saturday as it visits Claremont-Mudd-Scripps for the Rossi Relays.
