Badrani Records Top Time in 400-Meter Prelim at NCAA Indoor Championships
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Rasha Badrani of the Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team recorded the fastest 400-meter prelim time at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships on Thursday.
Badrani's time of 53.28 was one of two times under 54 seconds along with West Texas A&M's Peace Nwaelehia (53.72).
Badrani will now race for the national championship in the second heat of Saturday's final at 12:35 p.m. (PT).
