CSUSM Plays to 3-3 Draw Against Azusa Pacific
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos men's soccer played to a thrilling 3-3 draw against Azusa Pacific on Saturday afternoon at The Cage.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- CSUSM took the early lead in the 24th minute when Blake Haseyama found Oli Barrosa at the top of the box, who put a shot into the upper left corner of the net to put CSUSM up 1-0 for his first career goal.
- APU equalized the game at 1-1 from the penalty spot as Mario Shuteriqi converted after a CSUSM foul in the box in the 51st minute.
- The Cougars responded quickly as Efren Nuñez Dominguez scored his first career goal off service from Matthew Ibarra and Stefano Brunetto in the 54th minute.
- APU pulled level again when Luis Solis buried his penalty kick in the 78th minute.
- Haseyama put CSUSM ahead late with an unassisted strike in the 88th minute after dribbling past the APU defender and taking a shot from the middle of the box into the right side of the net.
- Just two minutes later in the 90th minute, Solis answered for APU, leveling the match at 3-3 and capping the scoring.
