Cougars See School Record, Two NCAA Provisionals, 13 Top-10 Marks at GVSU Big Meet

ALLENDALE, Mich. – The Cal State San Marcos women's indoor track & field team saw a school record fall in addition to two NCAA provisional marks and 13 top-10 program performances on Friday at the GVSU Big Meet.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

  • Freshman Danielle Patrick set a school record in the pole vault with an NCAA Division II provisional mark of 3.73 meters.
  • The Cougars set a trio of top-10 program times in the 60-meter dash with Orchid Concha (7.70), Nadia Miechowicz (7.74) and Kameron Pressley (7.98) ran the second-, third- and sixth-fastest times in team history.
  • Miechowicz and Kristin Cole set new PRs in the 200-meter dash. Miechowicz recorded the second-fastest time in school history with an NCAA provisional of 24.52 seconds, while Cole had the fourth-fastest time at 25.84 seconds.
  • CSUSM had a trio of top-10 program times in the 600-meter run as Cole (1:38.99), Jaymi Dickinson (1:40.33) and Emersyn Visser (1:41.96) ran the third-, fifth- and seventh-fastest times in team history, respectively.
  • The 60-meter hurdles saw Shaylee Mutka post a season-best time of 9.33 seconds while Pressley recorded the eighth-fastest time in program history at 9.36 seconds.
  • In the 5000-meter run, the trio of Liberty Miller (17:33.85), Angela McManus (17:46.04) and Carmella Baldwin (18:26.58) recorded the second-, third- and sixth-fastest times in team history.

CSUSM will compete in the Saturday edition of the GVSU Big Meet beginning at 7 a.m. (PT) to wrap up its indoor schedule.
