COURSE REPORT: The No. 8 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team (908, +44) captured its sixth consecutive CCAA Championship victory on Wednesday at Sandpiper Golf Club in Santa Barbara, California. Madison Murr was crowned the CCAA Individual Champion after carding a 6-over 222 (76-74-72).
FIRST TEE
- Murr shot an even-par 72 in the final round with five birdies and five bogeys to capture her first CCAA Individual Medalist honor.
- Makenna Cabardo claimed runner-up honors for the second time in her career (2022), finishing with a 7-over 223 (75-73-75).
- Competing in her first CCAA Championships, Kiara Hernandez tied for third place with a 10-over 226 (74-75-77).
- Regan Barton placed 15th with a 22-over 238 (79-75-84) while Diana Delgado took 23rd place with a 29-over 245 (84-78-83).
