COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos men's cross country team earned a third-place finish at the CCAA Championships on Friday morning at Hooker Oak Park in Chico, scoring 73 points in the 8K race.
FINISH LINE
- Alan Jimenez led the Cougars with a fourth-place finish in 24:37.6.
- Renton McGregor placed ninth with an 8K PR time of 24:48.9.
- Braden Oberg finished 16th in 25:00.5.
- Sankalp Shastri crossed in 24th at 25:38.4.
- Jacob Perez placed 27th with a time of 25:50.3.
- Charles O'Bear finished 29th in 25:58.9.
- Owen Hinz ran 26:11.5 to place 34th as CSUSM final scorer.
- Ziggy Nacco was on his heels in 35th at 26:17.0 and was followed by Mark De Haro (26:32.3, 40th) and Jayson Oliver (26:52.3, 50th).
