COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos men's golf team posted a fifth-place finish at the Chico State Wildcat Classic, held Monday at Peach Tree Golf & Country Club. The Cougars carded a 54-hole total of 15-under 849 across three rounds of stroke play.
FIRST TEE
- Johnny Sprague led CSUSM with a tie for 18th, shooting 4-under par 212 (72-72-68), highlighted by a final-round 68.
- Kai Miyata also tied for 18th at 4-under par 212 (73-70-69), finishing strong with back-to-back sub-70 rounds.
- Aiden Canada tied for 25th at 1-under par 215 (72-73-70), notching a closing round of 70.
- Nick Mouser tied for 45th at 2-over par 218 (74-72-72), showing consistency over the final two rounds.
- Liam Weaver played two rounds before withdrawing, finishing with a 139 total (70-69).
