Badrani Named to CSC Academic All-America Team
AUSTIN, Texas – Junior Rasha Badrani of the Cal State San Marcos women's cross country/track & field teams was named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America third team on Tuesday.
Badrani is the first CSC Academic All-America selection in program history.
With a 3.78 grade-point average, the business administration major had quite the 2024-25 indoor and outdoor seasons. Badrani won the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championship in the 400-meter dash, was named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II West Region Indoor Track Athlete of the Year, won CCAA Championships in the 400-meter dash and 400-meter hurdles and earned USTFCCCA Indoor and Outdoor All-America honors.
The Division II Academic All-America program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America program.
